Pensacola Native Martin “Marty” Stanovich has been featured on and has hosted numerous television and radio talk shows since his return to the Pensacola Area in 1995--after 8 great years at Florida State University (where he received his BA and MA in Classics and History).  He has emceed a number of functions for professional and charitable organizations such as the Autism Society of Northwest Florida, United Cerebral Palsy, the Leukemia/ Lymphoma Society, the Women’s Council of Realtors, The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, The Gulf Breeze Chamber of Commerce and the American Lung Association, where he also served as the Director of Development.  He has worked as the P.A. announcer for the Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL and the Pensacola Junior College Basketball and Baseball teams. For more than a decade, he taught history and Humanities at Pensacola Junior College, and has spent more than two decades working part-time as a disc jockey.  He is currently a partner in Music Unlimited, a mobile DJ business and Team Trivia, a live trivia game company.  A former golf professional, he now enjoys “the greatest game” in his spare time, along with good Non-Fiction books and spending time with his wife, Sheryl and their dogs, Lily (a Basset Hound) and Minnie (a rescued Field Spaniel).
